Day 1: Delhi Airport - The Leela Ambience Convention/ Eros Hotel New Delhi
Arrive at the Delhi Airport where you will be assisted for your check in at the Leela Ambience Convention/Eros Hotel New Delhi. After check in at your hotel you can relax for rest of the day.
Day 2: Delhi
After Breakfast you will set out for some sightseeing of Old Delhi. Old Delhi unravels the old charm and speaks volumes about India's history, culture and tradition, whereas fascinating New Delhi exhibits the picture of modern India. The tour will begin with a visit to the Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques. It was built in red sandstone and marble by more than 5000 artisans. Afterwards your travel continues and a visit to Chandni Chowk scheduled which is Asia's largest wholesale market, a massive area packed with shops, bazaars and people. Drive past the Red Fort built by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan in 17th century. Also visit the Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Then visit to Lakshmi Narayan temple, famously known as Birla Temple, a temple known for its striking architecture and for its historical value. Once you’re done relishing its beauty, you will be escorted to the next destination which is the magnificent Gurudwara Bangla Sahib - Known for being Delhi’s Largest, this gurudwara (Sikh temple) will allow you to take a sneak peek into the lives of Sikhs Visit their community kitchen (langar service) to see how everyday food is being served for thousands of people and understand their selfless devotion and service to humanity. After that proceed towards New Delhi, which reflects the legacy the British left behind. The first stop will be Qutub Minar, the second tallest minar in India. It is made of red stone and marble covered with intricate carvings and verses from the Qur'an. Later visit the 16th century Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent, an outstanding monument in the Indo-Persian style and a precursor of the Taj Mahal.
The tour to Imperial Delhi will also include a drive past of India Gate, the 42 m high War Memorial Arch, the Parliament House, the Secretariat buildings and the Vice Regal Palace, now the official residence of the President of India. Day 3: Agra
After a breakfast, start your journey to the city of love, Agra (3.30 hrs drive approx). The city is known by all as the home of the iconic Taj Mahal, it is still associated with the Mughals. Post your arrival, check in at the Hotel Trident Agra. After Fresh n up visit Agra Fort, it is also known as the Red Fort of Agra, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its well-preserved structures and historical significance make it a must-visit destination for those exploring the cultural heritage of India. After that proceed to the Itmad dualla tomb. It is often referred to as the "Baby Taj" due to its resemblance to the Taj Mahal. Its serene setting, intricate details, and historical significance make it a must-visit destination for admirers of architectural beauty and cultural history. Rest of the day relax at your hotel.
Day 4: Agra - Ranthambhore
Start your day with the sunrise views of the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays). It's also the quietest time to visit before the crowds arrive. After this fantastic view you can relax and have your breakfast at your hotel – The Trident afterwards you can proceed for a private guided walk around Agra's sights, such as the impressive Mogul Red Fort. The Red Fort is a great preview to visiting the Taj Mahal in the morning — the two were built during the same period and have much shared history, then later in the day you will be proceed your journey to Ranthambhore which is approximately 6 hours driveway.
Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri - A highlight in the province of Uttar Pradesh, Fatehpur Sikri served briefly as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585. This world heritage site is rated as one of the best-preserved collections of Mughal architecture in India. Surrounded by a six-kilometer wall, with the fourth being a lake at the time, a day can be spent exploring the elaborate structures within. Marvel at the impressive Jama Masjid Mosque, the detailed palaces built for Emperor Akbar’s wives, the public and private discussion halls and vast ornamental pool; all of which took over 15 years to conceptualize and build. Day 5: Ranthambhore
Start your Morning with the Shared Jeep Safari to Ranthambhore National Park. Return for breakfast and spend the rest of the morning at leisure. There is time to relax and enjoy the facilities of your hotel The Tigress. After lunch Afternoon drive to Ranthambhore National Park naturalist, Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Ranthambore - Jaipur
After breakfast, now it’s time to head to the "Pink City - Jaipur" which is around 3 hours’ drive and check in at the hotel ITC Rajputana and take rest/relax for rest of the day.
Day 7: Jaipur
The day starts with the delicious breakfast and get ready for your further journey to Jaipur including visit the hilltop fortress at Amber. Your car will spare you the trouble of reaching up to the fortress. Once on top, stroll through the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls. En-route to Amber Fort you will stop and see the `Palace of Winds,’ otherwise known as Hawa Mahal (Only Drive past). It is really an elaborate façade, extremely intricate in its pink sandstone carving.
Then visit Jantar Mantar, an observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century. The Maharajah, a scientist as well as an astronomer, had the principles of Euclid translated into Sanskrit. One of the most remarkable sites in Jaipur, the Jantar Mantar has fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time, predicting eclipses and tracking stars and planets.
Just next to the observatory is the City Palace. Built within the fortified area of the original city, it has one of the finest monumental entrances in India. The Palace is now principally a museum housing a collection of great treasures, including miniature paintings, carpets, royal garments and other interesting objects from Jaipur's intriguing past. The former royal family retains a part of the palace for their personal use. After the eye soothing sightseeing relax at your stay at ITC Rajputana.
Day 8: Jaipur - New Delhi
After breakfast, head towards the airport to board a flight back to Delhi. Arrive back to Delhi and enjoy your splendid stay at the Pride Aerocity hotel.
Day 9: Airport
It's time to bid farewell to India. After breakfast, you will be accompanied to Delhi International airport.
