Begin your exploration in Old Delhi with a visit to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in Southeast Asia. Once the royal hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, Ranthambore is now one of India's most renowned wildlife reserves and among the best places to spot the majestic Bengal tiger in its natural habitat. Set amidst the Aravalli and Vindhya Hills, the park features dramatic landscapes, serene lakes, dense forests, and the historic 10th-century Ranthambore Fort, creating a spectacular backdrop for wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 2: Ranthambore Wildlife Experience

Today experience early morning and late afternoon Game drive at Ranthambore National Park by private Jeep. 

A significant geological feature within the park is the ‘Great Boundary Fault’ where the Vindhaya plateau meets the Aravali range. The Rivers Chambal in the South and the Banas in the north bound the National Park. The Park is dotted with steep rocky hills and the dominating architecture of Ranthambhore Fort (built in the 10th century), adds to its landscape. The rugged park terrain alternates between dry deciduous forest, open grassy meadow, dotted by several lakes and rivers that are only made passable by rough roads built and maintained by the Forest Service. The tiger is not the only attraction at Ranthambhore. A variety of birds including owlets, the ubiquitous langur (monkey), leopard, caracal, hyena, jackal, jungle cat, marsh crocodiles, wild boar, bears and various species of deer are the other attractions.
