Day 3 – Kuala Lumpur to Sandakan
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and enjoy a private transfer to the airport for your internal flight to Sandakan (Sabah) to begin your Borneo wildlife and nature-focused journey.

Start your day with breakfast at the resort before visiting Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, where you will witness feeding sessions and learn about vital conservation work. Continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, home to the world’s smallest bear species.
After lunch, visit Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary to observe the unique long-nosed proboscis monkeys up close in their natural habitat.

Day 5 – Overland to Kinabatangan • Afternoon River Cruise
After breakfast, check out and travel overland to Kinabatangan, home to one of the most remarkable ecosystems in Asia. Check in at Bilit Adventure Lodge or similar lodge of the same category may be provided and enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon take your first river cruise along the Kinabatangan River — a wildlife-rich river corridor where you may spot proboscis monkeys, kingfishers, hornbills, macaques and, with luck, pygmy elephants.
